मंगलपुर नामक एक जाऊँ में छोटा सा पारिवार रहता था जिसमे सबिता नामकि एक औरत और उसके दो बेटे थे। अपने पति अचानक मृत्यू के बाद घर का सारा भर सबिता पर ही आ गया दो बेटो की परवरिश और पढ़ाई लिखाई में ही उसका सारा जीवन निकल गया। लेकिन जब उसके बच्चे बड़े हुए तब सबिता को एक बड़ा फैसला लेना था।
अरे सबिता बेहेन तुम यहाँ , आवो अंदर आओ। क्या हुआ सब कुछ ठीक हे न।
श्री धार भईयाजी आप जानते तो हे ना, मेरे दोनों मुश्किल से पाला हे मेने अब उनके सेहर जाकर कॉलेज पड़ने का टाइम आ गया हे मगर मेरे पास इतने पैसे नहीं हे की में डॉन ोको आगे पढ़ा सकू। अगर एक बेटे को नहीं पढ़ाया तो उसके साथ अन्याय होगा ऐसे में में क्या करू
तुम शांत हो जाओ और ये बताओ की दोनों में से होशियार कोण हे। मेरा मानब ज्यादा होसियार हे। यू तो अतुल भी ठीक थक पढ़ लेता हे मगर मानब पढ़ने में ज्यादा अच्छा हे।
तो बस फिर अतुल दोनों में से बड़ा हे और होशियार भी , तुम उसे सेहर ोपढ़ने के लिए भेजो और मानब को अपने पास ही रखो। मेरे जान पहचान में एक हलवाई के यहाँ नौकरी खाली हे , में उसे वही पर लगवा दूंगा।
श्रीधर की बात सुनकर सबिता को तस्सली मिलती हे। वो मानब को बाहर पढ़ने के लिए भेजती हे और अतुल को रामु हलवाई के यहाँ नौकरी करने के लिए लगा देती हे। अतुल को न पढ़ पाने का अफ़सोस तो बोहोत था मगर अपनी घर की हालात भली भाटी जनता था। इसीलिए उसने आगे पढ़ने की बिलकुल भी जिद नहीं की।
दिन ऐसे ही बीतता रहा और तीन साल बाद मानब को एक बड़े फ़ूड चैन में जूनियर मैनेजर की नौकरी मिल जाती हे।
माँ ये लो मिठाई खावो मेरी प्लेसमेंट एक बड़ी फ़ूड चैन में मैनेजर के लिए हो गयी हे।
थोड़े महीनो में मानब की प्रोमोशन जूनियर से सीनियर मैनेजर में हो जाती हे और वो अतुल और सबिता को सेहर ले जाता हे।
माँ कल मेरे बोस डिनर के लिए आ रहे हे , जब मेने उन्हें बताया की में अपने पुरे परिवार को यहाँ ले आया हु तो वह बोहोत खुस हुए।
अरे वह तो बुलाले उन्हें आखिर हम भी तो मिले तेरे बोस को। मगर माँ तुम तो हो तो खाना कोन बनाएगा।
तुम चिंता मत करो भैया जब तुम पढ़ रहे थे मेने रामु हलवाई के यहाँ बोहोत काम सिख लिया हे। तुम देखना ऐसे खाना बनाऊंगा की खाने के साथ उंगलिया भी चाट कर जायेंगे।
मगर एक बात का ख्याल रखना अतुल बोस ५ स्टार होटल के मालिक हे खाना उसी के हिसाब से होनी चाइये।
आप ये सब बातो की जरा भी टेंशन न लो भैया बस काम पे ध्यान दो। देखना खाना खाते ही आपकी डबल प्रोमोशन पक्की।
कहते ही सब खिलखिला उठे। अगले दिन अतुल खूब मन लगा कर बोहोत सारे स्वादिस्ट ब्यंजन बनता हे।

“आइये सर आइये , गुड मॉर्निंग अतुल ,
गुड़ मॉर्निंग सर। वह अतुल तुम्हारा घर तो बोहोत सूंदर हे। तुम्हारी माँ और भाई कहा हे। में अभी मिलवाता हु सर।
‘माँ ओ माँ , बोस आये हे।
“नमस्ते भाईसाहब , कैसे हे आप।
‘यहाँ मानब उसके बोस और उसकी माँ एक दूसरे से बात कर रहे होते हे और वह अतुल खाने की तयारी में लगा था।
थोड़ी देर बाद वो सब डाइनिंग टेबल पर डिनर करने आये। टेबल को सजा हुआ देख अतुल का बोस बोहोत खुस होता हे।
एक साइड फोर्क दूसरी साइड चाकू और चम्मच , टिश्यू टेबल क्लॉथ सब कुछ एकदम परफेक्ट था
” आई होप यू लिखे थे फ़ूड सर ,
ये तो बोहोत बढ़िया था किसने बनाया हे?
जी मेरे छोटे बेटे अतुल ने। अरे मानब अतुल घर पे ही हे। अब तक तूने मिलवाया नहीं मुझे उससे।
वो सर खाना बनाने में बिजी था ान इसीलिए।
अतुल, अतुल बेटा , इधर तो आ जरा।
“अतुल हिचकिचाता हुआ बाहर आता हे।
“वह बेटा खूब बढ़िया खाना बनाया हे तुमने तो , कही से कुकिंग का कोर्स किया हे क्या ?
“अरे नहीं सर, ये तो हमारे गाओं में एक छोटे हलवाई के यहाँ नौकर था इसलिए थोड़ा बोहोत बना लेता हे ”
अपने भाई के मुँह से ये सुनकर अतुल फिरसे दुखी हो जाता हे और खाना खाने के लिए बैठ जाता हे।
जाने से पहले अतुल के बोस मानब को एक ऑफर देते हे
“खाना खाके मजा आ गया , न ही खाना बल्कि टेबल डेकोरेशन का भी पूरा ख्याल रखा था अतुल ने।
सुनीता जी अगर आप बुरा न माने तो एक बात कहना चाहूंगा
आपका बेटा बोहोत टेलेंटेड हे हमें एक नए शेफ की जरुरत हे। अतुल वह हेड शेफ की नौकरी करना पसंद करेगा।
