A forthcoming Indian
action comedy film in the Hindi language titled Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan,
which translates to “Someone’s brother, Someone’s loved one,” is
being made by Salman Khan Films and directed by Farhad Samji. Salman Khan,
Venkatesh, Pooja Hegde, and Jagapathi Babu all appear in the movie. The main
narrative is based on the Tamil movie Veeram from 2014.

 

Initially, Veeram as
Bachchan Pandey (formerly known as Land of Lungi), a 2014 Tamil film, was
intended to be remade by director Farhad Samji with Akshay Kumar. The storyline
for Bachchhan Pandey was later rewritten to be a remake of the Tamil film
Jigarthanda. Samji modified the plot of Veeram and proposed it to Salman Khan,
who approved the project because Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment controlled
the remake rights to both movies. Later, Nadiadwala abandoned the undertaking
and granted the film’s rights to Khan, who chose to produce it under his
production company Salman Khan Films.

On January 10, 2020, the
movie’s title, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, was unveiled. Due to the COVID-19
epidemic, it was eventually delayed for a very long period and experienced
various pre-production delays; afterward, it was relaunched under the rumored
moniker Bhaijaan. The official title of the movie, however, was revealed to be
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan in August 2022.

Malvika Sharma, a
newcomer, Palak Tiwari, a boxer-turned-politician, and Shehnaaz Gill, an
actress from Punjabi cinema, made their Hindi film debuts with this project.
The movie would be Jagapathi Babu’s second in Hindi following Radhe Shyam
(2022), which also starred Hegde, and he has been cast in a crucial part. A
special appearance was cast with Ram Charan.

The film is scheduled for theatrical release on 21 April 2023,
coinciding with Eid.

 

On Saturday, Salman Khan provided an
update on his next film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The earlier title of the
movie was Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. The actor stated that the film’s schedule has
been completed in a social media post that included a photo from the set.
Salman Khan may be seen with long hair and a printed jacket. His swag is out of
this world. Salman Khan said as his caption: “Shot finished. The Eid 2023
release of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.” Salman Khan Films will produce the
movie, which will be directed by Farhad Samji.

 

On the professional front, Salman Khan
most recently appeared in the Mahesh Manjrekar-helmed movie Antim, which also
starred his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma (married to Arpita Khan). He also
revealed Bajrangi Bahaijaan’s second season. The actor’s upcoming movies
include Tiger 3 and Kick 2, both starring Jacqueline Fernandez. The movie will
hit theatres in 2019. The actor is now presenting Bigg Boss 16, a reality
